This is my second Midge build.
I sold the first Midge, built a Locust, then a Husky and then had a stroke!
So this was more to see if it was possible to build a 'plan and pattern' car with one hand.
The first Midge took eight months - this took eight years.
The chassis was to take Ford running gear. (cross-flow).
1600 Pinto from a Sierra Ghia estate. 5 speed gearbox.
Escort Sport back axle.
I've added the club badge and the brass name plate. It might stop people gathering to ask what it is.
