The car is based on a Triumph Spitfire Mk II, from 1965, 1147cc engine, 14" bolt on wire wheels (no adaptors needed), the handbrake lever is from an MG Midget. I started the project in 1989 and finished it in 1991.

The car has the original Spitfire seats, but now trimmed in leather, along with the door panels. The dash is a walnut veneer with the original instrumentation plus oil pressure gauge, volt meter, & vacuum gauge. The front wings are mounted to pivot with the wheels.
